Today maybe it wasn't such an exciting day on cams ..I took only some pics from NK and EP during my tweeping time this morning ...Then other issues in family kept my interest away of them ...Very late ..just before the darkness ...we did a small drive to our waterhole LOL ..I mean our lake (Agras Lake) ..After I saw the Green backed Heron on EP ...I wanted desperatelly to see something live ...And yes ...I was lucky ..
I saw my first for this year Squacco (Ardeola ralloides) and the first Night Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax)...I had some fun with the resident Marsh Harrier ..She was the cause of a panic in the Pygmy Cormorants (Phalagrocorax pygmeus) who were ready for the night ...I enjoyed for few minutes with the common birds of lake and the four Dalmatian Pelicans (Pelecanus crispus) and was surprised by the big number of common Swallows that were hunting 'fresh' mosquitos' and other insects near the little village Vryta...
Everything was so green on the slopes of mountains around (Still some snow at the top of Vermion mount though !!)...There were so many wild flowers everywhere ...After so many rains this year everything looks revived.
I'm sorry for there is no more pics of the other cams today ... and for all the mistakes I did again ...but I had the feeling to write some words to all you who visit my site ...
Have a good day/night my friends ...
