Due to so far unknown reasons the nesting of the saker falcon pair followed by webcam was unsuccessful. During the time passed since the laying of the eggs, even the last egg should have already hatched long before. Thus the experts have concluded that unfortunately all 5 eggs had become rotten. The experts of MAVIR and MME, under the supervision of the responsible ranger, removed the eggs from the nest box. The eggs are being sent for laboratory examination to find out the reason of becoming rotten. Further information will be provided regarding the results of the lab examination.
