Later during the day ..I took those pics at the other nest ...You can see that the legs and beaks started to become more red ...their behaviour changed too ....Breeding season is coming really soon

Two pairs of storks haven't migrated and spent the winter in Bornheim. At the last days of February and the first of March all the storks of the west route will be back ...
This is totally different for the storks of the east erurope ...They use the east route for their migration (Bosporus) and they return much later mid March and for Germany early in April . They migrate till South Africa so their journey back takes more time ...Of course the weather conditions in the east europe are harder for finding food ...
