Elephants details

Pete's pond cam

Elephants

Pete's pond cam,

Yellow billed Stork - Mycteria ibis

Pete's pond cam,

It is very interesting to see the Yellow billed Storks hunting. They walk into the swallow water with their big bill open and move slightly their leg to attract fish.
I used the same tactic to attract fish in sea last summer and it was big success :-))

Grey Heron - Ardea cinerea

Pete's pond cam,

Yellow billed Stork and Grey Egret. The stronger , the winner

Pete's pond cam,

The Yellow billed Stork and the Grey Egret were hunting together for long ..It looks the stork isn't such a great hunter as Egret ...And when Egret caught a fish, the stork didn't leave the chance to steal it with a lightning movement that you can't see on pics ...The law of the stronger after all....
