Three years before (May 2010) a pair of House Matins built a nest at my bedroom's balcony ...You can find the progress if you search at the old pics (label House Martin).

They had two saccesfull breeding seasons ...but the third year the House Sparrows attacked the nest ...chased away the Martins and threw away the eggs .....I was so disappointed that during the last winter I destroyed the remains of the nest with a secret hope that maybe a new pair would like to built it again ...So this year they came back again ...and while I was away the previous days they started to buid a new nest on the old traces of the previous nest ...I really hope the sparrows will stay away this year ....
